Applications for Selection to the 2023 intake open on Wednesday 2 March and close Friday 18 March 2022.
243 potential applicants have registered with RACS and been assessed as eligible to apply for the AOA 21 Training Program.
Each year AOA receives a very, very high number of applications for what is a limited number of training posts. This makes the probability of a successful outcome for candidates quite low.
The number of available training posts for any intake varies from year to year, as it is affected by accreditation of training posts and progression of existing trainees.
The graph below demonstrates the numbers of applicants, interviews and offers by region in 2021 for the 2022 intake.
