Sex and Gender Equity in Research – SAGER Guidelines

Lack of consideration for sex and gender differences within cohorts of research participants can have significant implications for patient and clinical outcomes. The SAGER guidelines provide a comprehensive framework for reporting sex and gender information in musculoskeletal and surgical research. AOA researchers are encouraged to utilise the guidelines and where relevant, include sex and gender considerations in their research studies.

The SAGER guidelines can be found here.
