ABIME

We are pleased to announce the educational collaboration between ABIME and The Australian Orthopedic Association Medico-Legal Society (AOA) through this International Inter-societal Conference on Medicolegal and Impairment/disability Assessment Sciences which is open to all of the members of our organizations.

To celebrate this collaboration ABIME is offering a 10% discount on tuition fees to all registered attendees of this AOA Medicolegal Conference.

Please accept our invitation to attend a comprehensive training program for the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (AMA Guides) 5 th ed. with Advance Case Studies & Comcare Guides, Aug 6 & 7, 2025.

In addition to the ABIME’s usual high quality AMA Guides training, at this Combined Meeting of AOA/RACS in Fiji, ABIME is also offering a workshop on NEW Comcare Guide to the Assessment of Permanent Impairment—Ed. 3.0

The AMA Guides 5 th edition training on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, is specifically designed for doctors of all specialties, as well as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Internal medicine, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Lawyers and others who need to learn the Methodology and Practical Use of the AMA5.

The Thursday, August 7, AMA5 Case Studies Workshop is very useful for learning the Practical Use of AMA5 and would build upon previous days learning of AMA5 taking it to the next advanced level. This 4 hour (8am to Noon) workshop will rapidly review the AMA5 methodology and then cover 10 case studies including MSK, Psych and Internal medicine cases that would enhance the skills beyond the initial training in the AMA5.

Anyone who has attended a one- or two-day AMA5 training previously should consider attending this new and Advanced Complex Cases Studies Workshop as it would help them advance their skills in the use of AMA5.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced user of the AMA Guides, you will find this 2-day training very useful in enhancing your skills to perform a high quality, valid impairment rating using the AMA guides 5th Ed. We look forward to seeing you there.
