Mr Andre Casson
Mr Andre Casson,
Brisbane Boys' College's tenth Headmaster, commenced in the role in 2022 and has been unwavering in his commitment to the BBC community. He has prioritised building strong connections across the College family – students, staff, parents and Old Collegians – recognising the unique contribution each makes to the ongoing success of the College.
In 2024, Mr Casson launched the College's
2024–2028 Strategic Plan, focused on ensuring BBC remains a school where there is more than one pathway for boys to
thrive. In the same year, he unveiled the
College's Master Plan Campus Vision, providing a blueprint for facilities that will support teaching and learning for generations to come. Both initiatives are founded on the College Values, which were co-created with input from across the BBC community.
A passionate advocate for boys' education, wellbeing and safeguarding, Mr Casson has championed initiatives that place student wellbeing, belonging and safety at the centre of College life. This includes the continued development of the
College's Tartan+ Wellbeing Model and a strong commitment to fostering a
child-safe culture across the BBC community.
Prior to his appointment at Brisbane Boys' College, Mr Casson served as Head of the Australian International School in Singapore, where he led the strategic direction and continued growth of the leading international school. He also has extensive experience within the Brisbane GPS school environment, having previously served as Deputy Head of Senior School at Anglican Church Grammar School before relocating to Singapore.
Mr Casson's leadership and vision for Brisbane Boys' College continue to guide the College as it builds on its strong traditions while embracing future opportunities.
