Combined APAS And VAAS ASM 2025

The organising committee is diligently working on APAS 2025, and we look forward to a new collaboration with a relatively new and exciting society in VAAS. APAS will collaborate with VAAS the Vietnam Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Society to hold the 2025 ASM in Ho Chi Minh City from July 30th to August 2nd. It will be the 25th Annual scientific meeting for APAS and the 4th Annual scientific meeting for VAAS.
President of APAS Prof David Choon from KL Malaysia and President of VAAS Prof Tang Ha Nam Anh from HCMC Vietnam and the organising committee will collaborate to ensure this combined conference is another milestone event for both societies and our industry partners.
Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, is the biggest city in Vietnam with a population now over 10 million. Connected to many major cities by direct flights it will be a perfect centre for academic influx in the APAC region. Our combined conference will showcase all evidenced based and advanced technologies for both arthroplasty and arthroscopy techniques to foster knowledge sharing and core science-based methods to optimise patient outcomes in a variety of communities. Pre-conference workshops will be engaging, and we will run our second APAS basic instructional course after the successful inaugural course in Mumbai.
Our usual mix of debates and panel discussions will be highlights of the scientific program, but this conference will have added value with the collaboration of our Vietnam based society VAAS. We will run 2 concurrent programs, one being our standard arthroplasty feast, and the second will be focused on arthroscopic techniques and management for both upper and lower limbs. This is certainly going to lead to an expansion of interest in our program so I would encourage you all to mark the dates in your calendar and plan to join us for another great conference in 2025.
The venue selected for the conference is the beautiful Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection Hotel which will provide everyone with a bird's eye view of this fantastic city and ensure a very comfortable stay so book early and join us.
Finally, as with all our conferences we encourage all young colleagues to submit their work for the free paper sessions where all work presented is recognised and best paper awards will again celebrate the best 3 scientific papers presented at the conclusion of the conference with valuable credit. Just ask past winners as we had 5 winners in Mumbai (ref. September APAS Newsletter). Looking forward to welcoming you to APAS/VAAS ASM 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City in July.
