Dear Colleague,

We are greatly looking forward to meeting face to face for the 2022 QLD Branch Annual Scientific Meeting.

  • When: 18-20 February 2022
  • Venue: Sofitel Noosa, QLD
Please ensure you book your accommodation early to avoid disappointment.
This years theme will be: Improving Patient Outcomes, Trauma and Foot/Ankle, with registrar topics on spine and tumours.
To carry on from the excellent scientific programs and outstanding attendance records achieved in previous years, the format for the meeting will remain essentially unchanged. Bone School wil be integrated into the Friday program and consultant presentations and instructional course lectures will feature during the weekend.

Please note: Registrar Free Papers will not feature in this scientific program and will instead be accommodated as part of a seperate meeting later in 2022.
The provisional program will be released shortly – it will feature an outstanding faculty of local and international speakers.
We will continue the meeting in a hybrid format,  which will allow for both in-person attendance in Noosa as well as online attendance from any location.

The social program opens on Thursday with a dinner to welcome our guest speakers and celebrating our final year trainees’ transition to Fellowship. On Friday evening, the Orthopaedic Women's Link (OWL) soiree will lead into the Friday night welcome dinner at the Sofitel, Noosa. Following the Saturday scientific sessions, the conference dinner will be held poolside at Sofitel Noosa.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
