22nd International Society of Limb Salvage General Meeting 2024

ISOLS President

Dear esteemed colleagues, distinguished guests, and friends of ISOLS,

The International Society of Limb Salvage (ISOLS) was established in Rochester, MN, USA, in 1981. This organization is comprised of scientists and clinicians from around the world. It is truly multidisciplinary and diverse in its representation and efforts. These include research, education, and the critical evaluation of our patient outcomes. I am proud to serve as President and even prouder to work with such an outstanding ISOLS Board and represent this wonderful organisation.

We hope that this message finds you, your family, and your loved ones safe and well. We are looking forward to seeing you at the General Meeting of ISOLS in Brisbane, Australia, where Professor Peter Steadman has arranged an exciting meeting. This gathering marks a significant moment in the field of limb salvage, where experts and innovators from across the globe come together to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and advance our collective mission of enhancing the quality of life for patients facing limb-threatening conditions.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the ISOLS Board, organizing committee, sponsors, and volunteers who have dedicated countless hours to make this event possible. Your efforts will ensure that this conference is a platform for excellence and a catalyst for progress.

In closing, I invite you to embrace this opportunity to expand your horizons, network with like-minded professionals, and contribute to the global mission of ISOLS. Together, we will make a difference in the lives of those who rely on our expertise.

Thank you for being a part of this remarkable gathering, and I wish you all a productive, enriching, and memorable Australia-Brisbane ISOLS Meeting in 2024.

With warm regards,

Francis J. Hornicek, MD, PHD
President of the ISOLS
