Dear Colleague,

We very much look forward to welcoming you to the 2022 AOA NSW Branch Hybrid Annual Scientific Meeting.

Date: 22 - 23 July 2022
Venue: Oaks Cypress Lakes, Hunter Valley

The 2022 NSW ASM will be a hybrid event which means you can register to attend onsite or you can register and participate in the meeting virtually. The virtual audience could also include AOA members from other states around Australia.

The onsite meeting is very much designed to be family friendly, and we encourage all delegates to attend with their partners and children. Registration fees will be waived for registrars and their families, and kept to a minimum for fellows of the NSW Branch of the AOA.

The Friday afternoon session will comprise instructional course lectures and technique tips covering a wide gamut of orthopaedic surgeries. This session has been specifically designed for trainees and forms part of the mandatory NSW bone school requirements.

On Friday evening there will be a casual barbecue dinner for all delegates and their families.

The Saturday morning session will be the traditional scientific program of open papers allowing trainees, non-trainees and Orthopaedic Surgeons to present their scientific research projects.

The Saturday afternoon plenary session will have a variety of stimulating talks on several diverse topics from our guest speakers.

The Orthopaedic Women's Link Soiree will be held prior to our conference dinner on Saturday evening. Sunday will be left open to explore the many and varied sights of the Hunter Valley.

Further information regarding accommodation is available via the accommodation page. Please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

The NSW government has strict event COVID-19 regulations which we need to adhere too. We will be monitoring the government restrictions closely and will keep delegates up-to-date with any changes as they occur.

We very much look forward to seeing you at the 2022 NSW ASM.
